Virtual Internship

We are growing steadily. Each new member and organization makes us stronger. Work with us and together we will push for justice.

Unpaid Internships for Undergraduate or Graduate Students

Interns will volunteer virtually with one of MAJR’s subcommittees (Front Door, Backdoor, Behind the Walls, or Executive Committee) to:

  • Provide administrative support for subcommittee meetings and events, including designing flyers, drafting meeting minutes and agendas, and other correspondence
  • Research policy and other criminal justice reform issues, analyze legislative bills
  • Develop content for our monthly newsletter and social media sites
  • When safe to do so in person (and considering COVID-19 challenges) accompany board of directors to legislative hearings and proceedings either in Annapolis at the State Capital.
  • Attend general body meetings, executive committee strategy sessions, and other coalition partner meetings.
