The Maryland Alliance for Justice Reform (MAJR) is an all volunteer organization that uses 100% of its funds for basic needs such as aiding volunteers in transportation costs, renting space for meetings, distributing copies of issue briefs and position papers, and providing educational material for lawmakers.
Because MAJR is heavily involved in political lobbying for specific legislation, it is organized under section 501(c)4 and contributions are not tax deductible.
MAJR accepts donations from individuals and organizations that support our mission and value statements, as posted on www.ma4jr.org. The executive committee reserves the right to respectfully reject any donation that it deems inappropriate.
